Our Network

Who We Are

The North West CHD Network is a collaborative framework

We bring together clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and patient representatives from across the North West, North Wales, and the Isle of Man. Our vision is to create a future where every individual receives the highest quality, patient-centred care throughout their life. We are passionate about ensuring that children with heart conditions and adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD) receive the best possible care, no matter their age or where they live.

What We Do

The Network serves as a bridge between hospitals, services, patients and their families making sure that care is coordinated and consistent for all patients.

Clinical Excellence: Developing and implementing best practices across the region.

Learning from incidents and mortalities: ensuring that there is shared learning across providers

Patient Support: Ensuring that patients and families are engaged and informed throughout their care journey.

Training and Education: Supporting healthcare professionals with up-to-date training and resources to deliver the highest standard of care.

Innovation and Research: Promoting new treatments and solutions to improve outcomes.
