A conference for patients was held in Liverpool. This was an all day event with lots of different talks from experts. It covered topics from heart rhythm problems and how we treat them to a talk about endocarditis. One of the talks that promoted a lot of discussion was around the emotional impact of living with a heart problem. See the programme for the wide variety of talks provided. It gave an opportunity for patients and families to meet others and introduced some people to the PPV group.
